Bridlington Priory Church

From Howden/West Yorkshire

M62 heading East. Leave the motorway at junction 37 (Howden). At the top of the slip road turn left, down to roundabout. Turn right onto A614. Straight across two roundabouts, following the A614 heading towards Market Weighton, and Bridlington.

At Holme-On-Spalding-Moor bear right at the roundabout.

Next roundabout turn left onto Shipton Lane A614.

Straight across next two roundabouts.

After the village of Bainton, roundabout, turn right, still following the A614.

Next roundabout 2nd left, still following the A614.

Next three roundabouts - straight across.

Go through the village of Carnaby.

Into Bridlington. At traffic lights - straight on. If you look to your right, you will see the Priory Church dominating the skyline.

At the double roundabout, go straight on at both, from the outside lane.

At the traffic lights turn left. Note the Bull and Sun on your right hand side.

Follow the road, and the Church is in front of you, with on road parking all around.

This route is just over 41 miles, and with normal driving conditions should take approximately 80 minutes, from Junction 37 to the Priory Church.

From the South Bank/Beverley

Come over the Humber Bridge. Straight across the roundabout onto the A164.

Straight across all roundabouts until entering Beverley.

1st Roundabout straight across.

2nd Roundabout 1st exit bearing left.

Double mini roundabout straight across, still following A164. Now on Lairgate.

At the traffic lights, straight on into right hand lane, and turn right at St Mary's Church (Hengate). Next traffic lights, straight on, on to the A1035 Norwood.

At the roundabout straight across onto the A1035 Hull Bridge Road.

Next roundabout straight on - A165.

Two roundabouts - straight on.

Through Beeford.

Next roundabout, turn left onto Moor Lane. Signposted Carnaby Industrial Estate, and Bridlington North. Over level crossing, to T junction. Turn right onto the A614.

Go through the village of Carnaby.

Into Bridlington. At traffic lights - straight on. If you look to your right, you will see the Priory Church dominating the skyline.

At the double roundabout, go straight on at both, from the outside lane.

At the traffic lights turn left. Note the Bull and Sun on your right hand side.

Follow the road, and the Church is in front of you, with on road parking all around.

This route is just over 31 miles, and with normal driving conditions should take approximately 75 minutes, from the Humber Bridge to the Priory Church.

From Hull

Leave via the A165 Holderness Road. Straight across at the Ganstead roundabout.

Follow the road to the Leven roundabout, turn right following the A165.

Two roundabouts - straight on.

Through Beeford.

Next roundabout, turn left onto Moor Lane. Signposted Carnaby Industrial Estate, and Bridlington North. Over level crossing, to T junction. Turn right onto the A614.

This route is just over 26 miles, and with normal driving conditions should take approximately 55 minutes, from the Ganstead Roundabout to the Priory Church.
