Travel north up the A1 or M6. Join the A66 and head west.

Upon reaching the outskirts of Cockermouth turn right at the roundabout, onto the A5086 (Lamplugh Road).

The road bends sharp right onto The Level and then left onto Gallowbarrow. This road then becomes Sullart Street. Still the A5086.

Stay on this road until it joins Main Street at a 'T' junction.

Turn right on to Main Street (B5292).

The United Reform Church is on your left, set back from Main Street, with a car park at the front.

The Globe Hotel is further up Main Street, on the right hand side.
