The recording of the Band's latest CD took place over the weekend of the 18th/19th/20th of November at Ackworth School, near Pontefract. We would like to thank Rhiannon Davies (the School Director of Music) for allowing us to use this superb facility.

I do it without music, so that I can be prepared for any random photographs!

At this point, the heating started to cool down.

So all the girls began to talk, the hot air soon warmed the place up again!

This was an emergency situation - Jez was delayed at work, and the second movement of The Deep requires three Trombones. A battered instrument was all that we could find, and Liz stepped in to do a fine job - even switching between Trombone and Euphonium mid-recording for the Euphonium solo.
